My first love

When I was really really young, my mum introduced him to me as "ammavan" which translates to uncle / mama. However, I refused to accept that, I did not know why but i couldn't accept him to be my uncle. There was definitely something that attracted me to him.. absolutely breathtaking and I just loved looking at him, I could spend hours just looking at him without a spoken word.. I realised later that he followed me wherever went.. I realised it was growing into something, something that gave me butterflies in my tummy!

Years passed and slowly I began to realise I was madly in love. It made me smile, the moment I saw his face, even on the worst of days. Just a glimpse and I feel happy and satisfied. Deep inside I knew he came around to make sure I was fine. I missed him when he didn't show up and waited for him. When I was really annoyed or sad, I talked to him for hours. He always made me feel good. There wasn't a problem he couldn't solve.

To this day I love him.. today more than yesterday and tomorrow more than today..! and I am sure he loves me too..!

He is my first love, not "ambili ammavan"* like my mum said!

Back after a break

Long time since the last blog, but irrespective, I am back! which I must confess is a great effort in itself. I guess the problem is me, or maybe any other lazy person on this planet. Its just that it takes a hell lot of effort to type the blogspot address on to the tab.. and then of typing away on the keyboard... but I was brave today and got in for some activity.

And updates since the last time? Lots.. I have graduated, mum n dad were here for the graduation, was divine in terms of food for 2 weeks.. and yes i did take them around. PS still in the hospital, but improving at a fast pace.. :) She should be home day after tomorrow.. Looking forward to it.

Lots of thoughts streaming.. will jot that in a few, related to jobs, wedding, family.. haha :)
but i guess its bye for now..

After the Eclipse

And yes I was indeed right about Jacob. The only sad part is to think that he is just 18! Why!??

Overall the movie was good for a Twilight series. Its the usual difference of opinion and fighting for the one lady who nobody can ever figure out (including herself). A few laughs here and there made it light. I jumped a couple of times in my seat at the sudden surprises (usually characters making sudden unexpected appearances) but that could be attributed to my low threshold for horror despite Twilight being a love story.

I enjoyed the movie thought he IMDB rating is 3.9. After all I'm too easy to please.. :) Jacob covered it all for me.. perfection.

Skill or luck

I was watching the Ghana - Uruguay world cup match. Ghana did not definitely deserve to lose. But some things that weren't in their control just happened. Is it because they didnt have skill? .. I doubt it. It was just that lady luck just wasn't there.

Got me thinking.. How often do people get pushed down/de-motivated/depressed because they lost out on something and blame themselves where most people tend to ignore the various other factors that they never had control over that led to it. Sometimes it feels like people always forget that however skilled one is, its tough to get things unless you are lucky at times..

I might be wrong, but I have seen too many instances where failure to achieve somthing, always tends to make people take it on themselves without considering these little other things that sometimes are part of.... the bigger picture?

Baking Tray

I never thought I could be a baking person or rather I thought baking was meant for a select few who were really talented.. However it turns out that I was wrong. With people who can give you awesome recipes and precise steps to bake, anybody can do it.

Trust me, for a zero experience person like me, 3 chocolate cakes (Nigella recipe) and 1 banana cake (my dearest AMG recipe) later I feel anybody can bake. Its not that tough.

The tricky part now is, with this confidence I am now thinking of experimenting more. God save my guinea pigs. :-D

Confusions

An attempt at trying to get out the confusions in my head into words.. More often than not I suck at doing it, nonetheless I still am trying to be bold and tap a few words in.

If all goes according to the track record, this will be my first and last post.. :) but with the little ray of hope inside of me, I'd say let's wait and see.
